Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through XC Scribe, operated by THE XTRACODE DOO BEOGRAD - ZVEZDARA. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), who acts as the Merchant of Record for our transactions.
2. Subscription Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 14 days of your initial paid subscription, you may request a full refund.
To request a refund, contact us at info@thextracode.com with your account email and reason for the refund. Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days.
After the 14-day period, subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
3. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are eligible for the same 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. After 14 days, annual subscription fees are non-refundable. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your annual billing period.
4. XCT Token Top-ups
Purchased XCT token top-ups are non-refundable once the tokens have been credited to your account. If tokens were purchased in error and have not been used, contact us within 48 hours of purchase for consideration of a refund on a case-by-case basis.
5. Downgrades
When downgrading from a higher to a lower subscription tier, no partial refund is issued for the remaining time on the higher tier. The downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and you retain access to the higher tier's features until then.
6. Service Disruptions
In the event of extended, unplanned service outages lasting more than 48 consecutive hours, we may, at our discretion, issue prorated credits or extend your billing period. Contact us to report any service disruption issues.
7. How Refunds Are Processed
Since Paddle is our Merchant of Record, all refunds are processed through Paddle. The refund will be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase. Processing time depends on your payment provider but typically takes 5-10 business days.
8. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly and fairly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in account suspension.
